Il Portichetto is a beautiful independent cottage, made out of a former barn in an old hamlet, converted into an accurate Holiday resort in the famous countryside off the city of Siena. The cottage is for 6 people and has 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedded room and 3 bathrooms.

The resort has a private parking lot and 7 more apartments with a Jacuzzi open air pool, to be shared with the other guests of the hamlet.

The pool and the entire property are surrounded by all year round flourished plants and perfectly shaped lawns. Il Portichetto cottage has private covered porch leading to the entrance and to a large, elegantly furnished living room with fireplace.

The house has been restored with whitewashed walls and stone on sight, with traditional wood beamed ceilings.

The dining area is on one side of the room, with the kitchen on sight delimited by a low wall. The living and dining areas are separated by a beautiful arch. On the left of the fireplace there is the door to the bathroom with shower and washing machine.

On one side of the living room there is a stone staircase leading to the upper floor.

Upstairs a landing with doors opening to different areas. The one on the left opens to the rear garden level and the other one to a big bathroom with 2 washbasins and a bath.

On a side of the stairs an internal balcony leads to another landing with the doors to the bedrooms, one double, one twin bedded, one double on two levels with one bed on each level. There is on this landing the third spacious bathroom with shower.

The cottage is warmly and accurately furnished, according to the traditional Italian country style.

Guests who wish to reach cafes, restaurants, shops and the bank in a shortwhile, can walk for 1 km from the house.

Nearby the famous jewel towns of Monteriggioni and San Gimignano. Siena is just 10 kms and Florence about 50 kms away.In order to enjoy outdoor activities, a big swimming pool is available 24 hrs, as it is lighted at nighttime too.

The cottage has indipendent heating and the gas will be charged accordingly to the use. All main appliances are available, such as washing machine, electric oven , big fridge with freezer and dishwasher for maximum independence. Cleanings on saturdays. Baby cot available on request.
