The apartment Fontania has a surface of about sq m 70, to host a max of 5 people. Simple but worthy and nice it has been completely restructured in the spring of 2007, so all furniture, wiring and piping are new.

The livingroom has a double sofabed, TV and table with chairs. The kitchenette has 4 fires hob, oven and fridge; One bathroom has bath and another smaller has shower;
The sleeping area consists of a double bedroom and another smaller with single bed. Both have fan.

The terrace is 20 sq m large, enough for a table for 4-6 people under a sunshade with view on Serapo, the sandy beach of Gaeta 150 m far, and the Mount Orlando.

The general look is modern, airy and comfortable, with new stilish furniture pleasant even if not luxury, with the light colors of the sea.

Notwithstanding it is located is in the town, shops are 500 m far.
Newspaper, bar and restaurants are closer, in the beach clubs.
No free parking in the area but it is possible to arrange public parking for 8 Euro per day if agreed in advance.

The apartment is located in one of the best districts of the small town of Gaeta, just out of the centre, admist villas and gardens, not caotic also in the peak of the Season.

Evocative sites such as on the Mount Orlando the two Castles Angioino and Aragonese, the shaked mountain, the Grotta del Turco, the place of San Filippo Neri or, downtown, the Medieval historical centre, the open fish market on the boulevard and the Piccolo Alley, make Gaeta one of the most interesting towns south of Rome or better to say North of Naples, since people and life style seems from in Naples.

The beach will be your choice:
-Serapo, the large and long sandy beach just 150 m. under the property, is perfect for children and families, with lux or family beach clubs and free beach.
- 300 m from the apartment on the other side is the splendid beach of Fontania with the finds of the pool and the villa of the Roman Gneo Fonteo (1st century A.C.).For those willing to spend an active holiday we warmly suggest to read our pages of self guided excursions and inparticular the one regarding the ULIXE'S COAST.

Along all the Ulixe's Coast till Sperlonga and then Terracina, Circeo the scenery continuously changes from splendid to unique with hidden small beaches, archeologic finds, panoramic roads through mountains striking into a blue umpolluted sea.
On the way to the South after 3 km is Formia, rich of Roman finds and with the train station.
Back to Formia small villages like Itri, Maranola, Castellonorato, Minturno where time stopped two centuries ago. 35 km far the Abbey of Montecassino founded by San Benedetto, the biggest in Italy in the Middle Age
