Villa Buganvillea, a former convent of nuns built in 1600 still maintains the original long shape, running on the hills surrounding Lucca, on the ridge of La Freddana Valley, the most wonderful hilly place of a region called "LUCCHESIA". The Villa is situated, in an extremely panoramic position. There is a superb view going out

in the distance towards Lucca and down to the plain that stretches towards Montecatini and Florence.

Its position follows the route of the old Roman "Via Francigena " road which was the road for the pilgrims who came from France and Spain and went to Rome.
Following the route to Camaiore, the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi can be reached in a short time.
" Villa Buganvillea " offers the chance of having a holiday rich of historic and artistic interest in a completely relaxing atmosphere.
The building has been recently fully restored by the present owner who, being an expert in renovating old houses, has reached a very high quality maintaining the traditional atmosphere.
All the villa has been decorated with tradional old furniture everywhere with a tasteful combination of antiques,with modern comfort.

A large terraced garden, full of old trees, aromatic plants, terracotta lemon pots and lots of flowers-, embraces the property. A huge buganvillea, reaching the second floor, welcomes you with its glorious cascades of purple flowers.
A large panoramic pool overlooking the valley is set on a lower terrace.
The hills that surround Villa Buganvillea invite those who love nature, to take long and pleasnt walks.

3 apartments are on the second floor- while the villa is on the ground floor and firts floor.
Owner's fully indipendent residence on the ground floor and first floor is left side of the building.

A long hallway leads to the four bedrooms Ground front lawn level floor A large iron spiral stair connects the living room with the unexpected beautiful, extremely spacious , dining -in-kitchen,. The American style kitchen is fully furnished: electric stove, oven, fridge, dish washer, washing machine, T.V.SET.
This sq m 70fabulous room ( once a lemon house) opens on the front lawn through an arched old big door. It can sits many people, for delicious Tuscan dinners.
On the same level there are 4 double bedrooms, each with private bathroom or shower room.

A panoramic hilly paved road leads to this lovely, peaceful chapel.
