Just in the middle of
the Country, The Umbria Region, the so called Heart of Italy,
is the Holy Land that gave nativity to Saint Francis, the Italy's
Patron, and many other Saints of the Middle Age.
The Green Umbria,
the only peninsular region without coastal areas, is a small Region
situated between Lazio, Abruzzo and Tuscany, the Marches and Emilia
Romagna, divided in two provinces: Perugia and Terni. The main
river is the Tiber. The mountains cover 53% of the total surface,
41% the hills and only 6% the plainland, so that this land drains
huge quantity of water to form lakes and numerous springs - to
be mentioned the charming Piediluco lake, the scenic Clitumno
spring and the magnificent Marmore Waterfall, all of incomparable
beauty -. The evergreen valleys run after each other scattered
by little villages and magnificent Medieval beautiful art towns
such as Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi, Spoleto, Todi and Orvieto. All
the other well preserved and mantained centres of cultural, gastronomic
and musical events during the whole year, are worthy to be visited
and lived all the year long. Craft, often at high art levels,
is much spread through this region, with ceramics, iron, copper
and wood handycrafts. The calm and restful environment gives everywhere,
in this Region with human dimension, a sense of relax.
A lovely apartment for 2 people with 1-2 guests or children in the city historic center of the medieval town of Narni, among the most representative jewels in the region.
The ideal spot for a jump in the past at less than 100 kms from Rome and only few kms from Assisi, Perugia, Urbino, Todi and the Marmore Waterfalls.

Sylvia is a villa with swimmingpool on the border between Umbrian
and Tuscan countryside with a surface of sqm 500 about on half hectare
of fenced well cared lawn and with a landing field for small planes.
A nice gazebo in the garden, to have a breakfast at the 19th century's
way; a marvellous porch on the first floor to stay chatting; a mini
football court where to tire out the abundant energy of teenagers;
a little lake, belonging to the owner, where to fish and a riding
center 5 kms far are premises of an active but relaxing holiday.
A pretty small villa for one family or two smaller in a very good
location. Pool, woods and the beautiful environs are the premise
for a very pleasant and quiet family holiday.
Many interesting villages in the surroundings with
typical medieval architecture and gourmet restaurants.
The holding, formerly a farm house active with animals breeding,
has been totally restored and converted with great taste in a pleasant
resort at an hour distance from Rome.
The houses are immersed in a 5 hectares property in the hilly countryside
between the cities of Amelia and Todi, in a land rich of charm and
medieval flavour.

The ancient Fief of Farnetta, 300 hectares about, with oak tree
woods and sunflower fields, in the gently rolling hills of southern
Umbria, in the Todi county, belongs since many centuries ago to
the same family living in Todi.
The Manor with Tower which sits on the top of the hill and has a
commanding view of both the estate and the surrounding countryside
was recently restored (1998-2000) and brought to the ancient radiant
charm by the owner with the help of two famous world-renowned Italian
